The Marshall University H.E.L.P. Program is a nationally-recognized center of excellence, located on the campus of Marshall University in Huntington, WV. The program is committed to providing comprehensive academic support programs for persons diagnosed with a Specific Learning Disability and/or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. H.E.L.P. offers one-on-one academic tutoring, and students also meet individually with learning specialists to develop effective study skills, improve time management, and learn organizational techniques and test-taking strategies. In addition, H.E.L.P. offers a skills development component to help increase students’ reading, writing, and mathematic skills.
